“An experienced Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor based in Wilmslow, I work with adult individuals and Couples or Two’s, such as mother and daughter.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental space, to enable you to explore personal issues or emotions, past experiences or difficult relationships, helping you to discover what’s going on for you and find better ways of being. My passionate belief is that everyone has the potential to change their lives in meaningful ways with the right support and conditions. A bit like a plant needs water, sunlight and food to grow and reach its potential.
“There can be times in our lives when we struggle to cope. When our problems seem just too challenging to manage alone. Speaking with family and friends can help, but sometimes the issues we are experiencing are not easy to talk about with the people we know. This is when professional counselling can help.
At the heart of my work is a person-centred ethos which means that my priority is to build a trusting, honest relationship which will enable you to feel truly heard, fully accepted and understood. This, in itself can bring enormous comfort and relief and help you gain a better understanding of yourself; increase self-acceptance; help you to explore choices; build self-belief and ultimately enrich your relationships and enhance well-being.
I understand that finding a therapist and starting therapy can be a daunting task. I can offer you a safe space and a confidential, nurturing, non-judgemental, empathic environment to help you unravel your problems. Together we will identify what you need and we can work for a few sessions or over a longer period. Whatever your concerns may be, I take them very seriously and offer a warm acceptance of all you bring.
If there is anything you are unsure on, please contact me to discuss your concerns. I offer a no-fee 20 minute initial telephone or on line consultation.”
